YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown and Mahoning County Public Library is partnering with Mahoning County Public Health to distribute 4,000 rapid home COVID tests starting January 3.

Distribution will be limited to branches outside of the city of Youngstown, including Austintown, Boardman, Campbell, Canfield, Poland, Sebring, Springfield, Struthers and Tri-Lakes branches, said Maggie Henderson, head of strategic communications. Residents can call 330 744 8636 to book up to four free tests, no library card required. Tests will be distributed by curbside pickup.

Main, Brownlee Woods, East, Michael Kusalaba and Newport branches will not participate in the distribution, Henderson said. However, the library is anticipating its own delivery of tests next week, which will be available at all of its branches.
