PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Public Library is hosting Bike Fest tomorrow (June 25), a chance to start a new hobby or discover new trails in and around Prince George.
It will take place at Canada Games Place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there will be raffles from Ruckus, Koops and the Prince George Brain Injured Group Society, and food from vendors like Baller Foods, Kusina Tasty Foods, Open Door Cafe, and Veg Head Killer Foods.
“Bike Fest is for everyone of all skill levels, from bike enthusiast to foodie! Come talk to the experts about what you need to get started cycling or grab some local trail maps and find your next adventure. Raffles and delicious food make this your perfect Saturday. With so many delicious foods and being just down the street from the Farmer’s Market, this event is a great way to kick off the summer and encourage people to get out!” says Jen Rubadeau, communications and engagement manager at the Prince George Public Library.
There will also be booths and demonstrations from Caledonia Nordic, Cycle Logic, Gals n’ Gears Bike Club, Cops for Cancer, Prince George Brain Injured Group, BC Summer Games and the Prince George Public Library.
