Programming News
• Kids Yoga in the Park (6 to 12 years old) will take place on Wednesday June 15 and will be available by registration only. Register by calling 250-362-7611 or emailing [email protected]
Book clubs
• On June 29, at 6:30 p.m., Raven Reads will discuss Rachel Carson’s silent spring. Published in 1962, Carson exposes the damage caused to the environment by synthetic pesticides. Silent Spring started the environmental movement and was named one of the 25 Great Science Books of All Time. Copies are available at reception.
