Public consultation on the draft official plan
The city of Sault Ste. Marie released a draft official plan with a revised set of strategic guidelines. The City’s Official Plan guides local decision-making on land use, development and public infrastructure for the next 20 years. Public participation is essential to ensure that the plan reflects the overall vision of residents and stakeholders.
“The Official Plan provides guidance on how the community should grow over the next two decades and is one of the City’s most important documents,” says Don McConnell, Director of Planning.
