Public consultation: EU invites comments on the revision of the Package Travel Directive

The public consultation for the revision of the Package Travel Directive [(EU) 2015/2302]launched by the European Commission, is still in progress.
All citizens and the wider stakeholder community are invited to express their views.
As part of the public consultation, the Commission is seeking information from stakeholders who may have an interest or expertise in the Package Travel Directive. The Commission is interested in hearing their experiences, perceptions and opinions regarding the application of the current rules and the potential impacts of options for future action.
Relevant stakeholders include people using travel services; consumer organisations, including passenger rights associations; and traders (including SMEs) and relevant trade associations, in particular at EU level, such as package tour operators (tour operators, online and offline travel agencies, carriers, hotels, etc. ) and/or retailers (especially online and offline). online travel agencies).
The questionnaires are available in some or all of the official EU languages and are accessible here.
The consultation period ends on 10 May (midnight Brussels time).
