Multicultural Coalition: Hosts Upcoming Vaccination Event at Neenah Public Library
NEENAH, Wis. (July 18, 2022) – On Tuesday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Multicultural Coalition, Inc. (MCI) will host a free COVID-19 vaccination event at Neenah Public Librarylocated at 240 E. Wisconsin Ave. to Neenah (map).
“We know that the library is a place where many families and children gather during the summer months,” explained Ernesto Gonzalez, MCI board member and president of Casa Hispana Inc. success in bringing these vaccination clinics to people, especially in local libraries, and we are excited to be back to offer these resources.”
The event will offer vaccinations for people aged six months and older. First, second and/or booster shots will be provided. ID and health insurance are not required.
These community-led events include:
- Interpreters for those who speak Hmong and/or Spanish
- Free books for children
- Diapers and personal hygiene products for those who need them
The Neenah Public Library Vaccination Clinic will be hosted by several community partners including Multicultural Coalition, Inc., Red Shoes Inc., Partnership Community Health Center, NEW Hmong Professionals, Casa Hispana Inc., United Way Fox Cities, CAP Services , RISE , Valley Transit, Neenah Public Library, Harbor House, People of Progression, AMI, LEAVEN, Winnebago Area Literacy Council, Piña Limón, Youth Go, Building for Kids and Heckrodt Wetland Reserve and Bergstrom-Mahler Museum.
