Fund for Public Education Selects New CEO
JACKSON, Wyo.—Jason Bruni has been hired by the Fund for Public Education as its new executive director.
Bruni will lead fundraising and programming initiatives supporting Teton County School District #1. Bruni is an active member of the community and most recently served as a Development Officer with Teton Habitat.
“The Fund’s impact on student experiences, such as the TCSD food program, early childhood literacy and mental health care, is inspiring in many ways,” Bruni said.
Bruni received a full public education and hopes to combine her love of the local community and her appreciation of teachers by working in partnership with TCSD #1.
Superintendent Gillian Chapman expressed excitement about welcoming Bruni to the FFPE.
“TCSD’s partnership with the Fund is vital to the future of our district, especially now that we are seeking funding and support for several important projects, including the bleacher replacement at McIntosh Stadium, employee housing and Bronc Achievement. Center in addition to all the amazing things the Fund does for our schools day-to-day, including securing funds for student meals, live performances, and general support for classrooms and teachers.
President of the FFPE, Annie Band also sang the praises of Bruni.
“[He is a] driven, enthusiastic and philanthropic individual who prioritizes the welfare of our local youth and educators,” Band said.
