Findlay-Hancock County Public Library Holds Rare Book Sale | New
A huge stock of collectible books will be sold at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library next week.
Friends of the Findlay Hancock Library, a non-profit organization aimed at helping the library, are delighted to announce their sale of rare and collectible books. Hundreds of books were donated to the Book Cellar where they sell used books, and most of them turned out to be rare historical pieces of literature.
The sale will begin on Monday 10 am to 10 am when the book cellar opens. Large crowds should be there to try and get their hands on the collectible books.
Emilee Whetstone, Head of Book Cellar says: “We have a lot of first editions: first American editions, first British editions. We have some that are signed by the authors, others that are only limited editions. They are very exciting and interesting. I pick them up and look at them and think, “Oh, I just want to read this. I’m not a collector of books, but I mean they are so interesting to watch.
The books range from Western Americana literature to WWII history. The sale will continue throughout the week during the opening hours of the book cellar.
