As part of the new campaign, ScottHall.co explains that when the ERTC was first launched, employers could claim up to $5,000 per employee in tax credits, but after several changes, that amount increased to a maximum of $26,000 per employee. The latest changes have also made the program accessible to small and medium-sized businesses with up to 500 full-time employees, nonprofits, startups, and new businesses.
ScottHall.co explains that to qualify, the business must have incurred losses due to the pandemic or temporary closures due to government orders such as a lockdown.
